Overview
One client, from office to factory floor.
The UMW High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Park in Serendah is an 861-acre industrial park, developed by UMW as Malaysia's first high-value manufacturing park. UMW relocated group operations from Shah Alam to new facilities within the park.
DCC was appointed to provide full quantity surveying services across five of these facilities. Each building type carried different cost drivers, from office fit-out to heavy industrial operations, and each was carried through every stage of the QS appointment.
The QS appointment
Full QS, from first estimate to final account.
Budgets set for each facility and revised as the designs developed.
Each building measured and documented for competitive tender.
Tenders evaluated and recommended, and contracts prepared.
Work in progress valued and variations measured through construction.
The final cost of the works agreed for each facility.
